LED packaging service provider Everlight Electronics has obtained orders for invisible-light LED devices with shipments scheduled until the end of 2021, according to industry sources.
For orders for visible-light LED devices and LED backlight units (BLU), Everlight has scheduled shipments for August and September 2021, the sources said.
Everlight has expanded production capacity for photo couplers, with the new capacity gradually coming into operation at the end of June 2021, the sources noted. Currently, Everlight's shipment schedules for photo couplers are running until November-December 2021, the sources indicated.
Everlight has begun to ship miniLED BLUs for LCD TVs and will begin to ship such BLUs for notebooks and monitors later in 2021, the sources said.
Everlight has reported consolidated revenues of NT$2.417 billion (US$86.5 million) for June, the highest monthly level in three yeas with growth of 6.20% on month and 35.34% on year. Consolidated sales of NT$6.759 billion for second-quarter 2021 increased 14.83% sequentially and 19.70% on year, and those of NT$12.646 billion for January-June rose 24.41% on year.
Of second-quarter consolidated revenues, 35% came from invisible-light LED devices and 22% from LED BLUs.
