Samsung Electronics began to produce microLED commercial displays at its factory in Slovakia in early May 2022, according to South Korea-based ETNews.

Samsung originally produced Neo QLED and QLED TVs at the factory, but it decided to also make microLED commercial displays there to meet growing demand, the report said.

Samsung has begun making microLED TVs at its factory in Vietnam and started production of microLED commercial displays at its factory in Mexico.

Samsung will reportedly launch microLED TVs in second-half 2022, with production to be handled by the Vietnam facility.
