AUO Display Plus, AU Optronics' subsidiary specializing in industrial and commercial display panels, is showcasing three smart solutions jointly developed with partners as well as in-house-developed smart capsule offices at the Touch Taiwan 2022 International Display Exhibition during April 27-29, according to the company.

The three smart solutions are an educational space management solution, a remote teaching solution, and a smart operating room dashboard solution.

Developed via cooperation with panel PC and industrial computing device maker Qbic Technology, the educational space management solution is for managing reservation of library seats and research discussion rooms, allowing teachers and students to real-time check available space and make online reservations.

The remote teaching solution is developed through cooperation with educational management software developer Wisdom Garden. The solution is a four-in-one video conferencing device matched with a learning platform to enable teachers and students to mutually interact online via a touch screen.

Developed through a partnership with industrial computing device maker Adlink Technology and AI+IoT-based medical/health care solution developer imedtac, the smart operating room dashboard solution is a platform that is equipped with a single intuitive and multi-functional interface and connected with related surgical equipment at operating rooms and hospitals' internal information systems. The platform can quickly integrate patients' biological data with real-time surgical images to help operating teams access necessary information.

Smart capsule offices are made of sound-proof materials and automatic-light-adjusting glass panels, equipped with plug-and-play video conferencing facilities and matched with a booking system. They are intended to be used by business professionals as independent working/meeting spaces in public facilities and large office spaces.
